Abshot Community Association has proudly served the local community since 1980, providing a welcoming and affordable venue for social events, community activities, celebrations, and local groups.
Run and managed by a dedicated voluntary committee, the centre operates as a registered charity with the aim of creating a friendly, inclusive space where local people can come together to socialise, celebrate, and support the wider community.
Over the years, Abshot Community Centre has become a popular venue for a wide variety of events and activities, including community user groups, family fun days, quiz nights, tribute acts, pantomimes, charity fundraisers, live entertainment, fitness classes, birthday parties, wedding receptions, christenings, wakes, and much more.
Our flexible facilities include a spacious hall, licensed bar area, kitchen facilities, outdoor patio space, and convenient on-site parking, making the venue ideal for both private functions and regular community activities.

Located within the centre, the Sovereign Social Club provides a welcoming members’ social bar for ACA members and guests attending events at the venue. The club offers affordable drinks, live Sky Sports, music events, quiz nights, meat raffles, social evenings, and a relaxed atmosphere for members to enjoy throughout the year.
Membership costs just £10 per year (£5 for over 65s), providing excellent value for those looking to become part of a friendly local community.
